What Can I Expect When I Hit Send?
Your answers will go directly to our ACFW team – real people who care, not bots. Because the civil legal system is forthright, your experience will need to meet certain criteria set out for those participating in the case. (FYI: we don’t decide this since we are not lawyers; the law firms we work with determine who is eligible for various cases. Our team will review your information to determine if you may be able to continue forward.)
Do You Protect My Privacy?
Most definitely. We work hard to keep your information confidential. All information is stored in secure systems with access limited only to our trained ACFW staff. Only your law firm, should you decide to move forward, will receive your information. Again, nothing happens without your ongoing consent, and you can always opt out or ask us to delete your info at any time.
Will Someone Reach Out to Me?
Yes – we will contact you right away because we want to be as responsive as possible. Most situations require quick action, and we don’t want you to miss any deadlines. But above all, we strive to make the process as simple and easy as possible. Are you a phone person? We’ll call you. Prefer text or emails? We have you covered there too. (Bonus: You can always opt out of any type of communication.)
What If I Am Able To Move Forward?
We will email you a DocuSign so that it is easy to review and sign the paperwork securely. We will also contact you to let you know about the paperwork and answer any questions.
What Happens After I Sign?
Your law firm will reach out to welcome you and (probably) get a bit more information. Sidebar: The only lawyers we work with operate on contingency so you owe them nothing + pay nothing until and unless they win for you.
Depending on your case, there may be a need for several conversations with your law firm right away; in other instances, you’ll feel like you are watching paint dry. Either way, your legal team is on it.
