How Did Dr. Aejaz Get Away with Filming People?
Dr. Aejaz started practicing internal medicine in the Rochester area in 2018. He is accused of committing sexual assault at his residence, several prominent hospitals, and the Goldfish Swim School near Detroit.
At these places during his time off, Aejaz installed hidden cameras in hospital changing rooms, patients’ hospital rooms, public private bathhouses, swimming pool locker rooms and dressing rooms, closets, and bathrooms.
Fox News Detroit coverage indicated he may have first targeted two young children and their mother at the swim school.4
Here are some of the places Aejaz hid cameras:
Aejaz was a contract physician at these hospitals, so never a full employee, but that doesn’t mean his former administrators should be let off the hook if it is confirmed they knew, or should have known, about his criminal activities.
Sidenote: Police do not believe employees at the Goldfish Swim School knew of Aejaz’s activities, and the school claims the cameras were not affixed but carried in and out of the facility on his person.5
